The AIG Women’s Open is the fifth and final major of the 2024 LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour seasons.
This year’s tournament creates history as the first edition of the Women’s Open to take place in Wales as Royal Porthcawl stages the major.
The tournament was first played in 1976 when staged at Fulford and it has since moved to a number of venues including Wentworth, Royal Birkdale, Woburn, Sunningdale, Royal Lytham & St Annes, Turnberry, St Andrews, Carnoustie, Royal Troon, Muirfield and Walton Heath.
Lydia Ko is the reigning champion after winning the AIG Women’s Open at St Andrews in 2024, and she is among the betting odds favourites for the Women’s Open.

The AIG Women’s Open will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at Royal Porthcawl in Wales, with a cut after the opening two rounds.

- Day 4 – Sunday, August 3
The AIG Women’s Open tournament carries a total prize fund of $9,500,000, a $500,000 increase on the 2024 purse.
