Though he missed the first part of the 2025 season due to injury, World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is beginning to mount a challenge to his historic accomplishmnets last season, when he won seven PGA Tour events.

Heading into the Scottish Open, the final event before the 2025 Open Championship at Royal Portrush, Scheffler has three big wins on the season. The biggest, of course, came at the 2025 PGA Championship, where he captured his third major title.

To get his fourth Tour victory of the year at the Renaissance Club, he’ll have to get past a stellar field featuring a refreshed Rory McIlroy who is also looking for his fourth win of the season.

And it all gets started on Thursday.
