The 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship makes history this week as it becomes the first major ever played at the PGA of America’s new headquarters in Frisco, Texas.

From June 19th through the 22nd, the spotlight is on Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco — a world-class venue that’s already set to host future PGA Championships, including the men’s in 2027 and 2034, and the Women’s PGA again in 2031.

The field features 156 of the world’s best, including 12 past champions, two of this year’s major winners, and eight club professionals who earned their spots through qualifying. And the stakes are higher than ever with a record $12 million purse on the line — the largest purse on tour.

The fan experience

The 2025 KPMG is a big week for fans, too. Throughout the week, spectators can enjoy a wide range of activities for the whole family. Like putting on the Dance Floor—a two-acre, putting course that’s open daily. Putters and balls are available to rent on-site, giving fans of all ages a chance to test their short game.

Just around the corner, Ronny Golf Park invites young fans to get hands-on with the game through interactive stations and activities led by professionals from the Northern Texas PGA.

Saturday, June 21, will be a special day for young fans as it marks Junior Golf Day. The day will include golf-themed games, learning opportunities and experiences that introduce the next generation to the sport in a fun and engaging way.

Following Saturday’s third round, fans are invited to stay late for the ‘Fore Texas’ celebration, which is free to the public. Beginning at approximately 6 p.m., the evening will feature live music, great food, drinks, shopping, and a drone light show.

The music kicks off with Amanda Kate Ferris, the 2024 Texas Regional Radio Music Awards’ “New Female Vocalist of the Year,” and following her at 8 p.m., Frisco native and rising country star Grace Tyler will take the stage.

At 9:30 p.m. there will be a 15-minute drone show by FlyLight Drones. Featuring 300 drones that will light up the sky over Fields Ranch West. The best viewing area will be The Dance Floor, which will remain open for putting until 10 p.m.

Official 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and 2027 PGA Championship merchandise will be sold in the PGA Shop, while pop-up retail experiences will line the promenade with offerings from brands like Yellow Rose by Kendra Scott, Lucchese, A. Putnam, and Blue Lacy Mercantile, which will feature a custom hat bar.

Complimentary parking for Saturday evening’s festivities will be available at Panther Creek High School. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets for seating during the concert and drone show. Strollers are permitted, but must stay off putting surfaces.

Tickets

Daily tickets for the 2025 KPMG start at $35, and each ticketed adult may bring up to four juniors (age 15 and under) at no additional cost. All tickets include complimentary bottled water and access to cooling zones, ensuring a comfortable experience for all guests. Complimentary grounds access is also available to military personnel, including active duty, retired, reserve, and veterans.

For those seeking a premium experience, the Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa — located just steps from the course — offers exclusive hospitality packages that include Club PGA tickets and luxury accommodations.

The 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship is more than a major. It’s a celebration of excellence in women’s golf, community engagement, and inclusive fan experiences. From world-class competition and youth-focused programming to Texas-sized entertainment, this year’s Championship promises to leave a lasting legacy in Frisco and across the sport.
