The 2025 Tour Championship takes place from August 21-24 at East Lake Golf Club. Watch a 2025 Tour Championship live stream of all the action from the FedEx Cup finale.
The event is the conclusion of the FedEx Cup playoffs series and the last tournament of the 2025 PGA Tour season.
The tournament was first held in 1987 when known as the Nabisco Championship before becoming the Tour Championship in 1991.
It is now the season-ending tournament with $20,000,000 up for grabs for the 30 remaining players in the FedExCup series.
The Tour Championship is once again being played at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia, have also been staged at the venue in 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004 and 2024.
Other hosts venues include Champions Golf Club at Cypress Creek, Southern Hills Country Club, The Olympic Club, Pinehurst Resort, Harbour Town Golf Links Pebble Beach and Oak Hills Country Club.
Scottie Scheffler is the reigning champion having won the event in 2024. He leads the Tour Championship betting odds in his bid to go back-to-back.

Tour Championship Golf Format & Schedule
The Tour Championship will be played over four rounds / 72 holes on the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia.
The top 30 players on the FedEx Cup Standings take part, meaning there is no cut after the opening two rounds.
Previously, players started with different scores based on their FedEx Cup points leaderboard positions. However, this year all players start at level par for the tournament.
- Day 1 – Thursday, August 21
- Day 2 – Friday, August 22
- Day 3 – Saturday, August 23
- Day 4 – Sunday, August 24
The Tour Championship tournament carries a total prize fund of $40,000,000 USD with $10,000,000 going to the winner.
