The second round of the 2026 American Express kicks off Friday morning at PGA West in La Quinta, Calif. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament on Friday, including full American Express TV coverage, streaming details and Round 2 tee times.

How to watch American Express on Friday

If you thought it would take a little time for Scottie Scheffler to work out the offseason rust, think again.

The World No. 1 played his first round of the new PGA Tour season on Thursday, and he showed why he’s the best in the world. Playing La Quinta Country Club, Scheffler drained nine birdies and no bogeys to fire a nine-under 63. He hit 17 of 18 greens on Thursday, and he chipped in for birdie on the only one he missed.

Despite his stellar round, Scheffler is not in the lead. He trails Min Woo Lee and Pierceson Coody by one, after those two players went 10 under on the Nicklaus Tournament Course at PGA West.

For Friday’s second round, Scheffler will switch to the Nicklaus Tournament Course.

You can watch the second round of the American Express on TV via Golf Channel, which will air coverage starting on Friday at 4 p.m. ET. PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will provide exclusive streaming coverage beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET on Friday, as well as featured group coverage all day long.
