Such a Personal Service
An international holiday can be a large investment and it is the attention to all the small details that make the experience totally memorable. We feel this company is unique in its field in that it offers a completely individualised service at the very high end of the business. We thoroughly recommend Portmanteau Travel; the company is innovative and extremely thoughtful.

It was an absolute treat to find a company that consistently goes above and beyond to ensure their clients’ satisfaction and immense enjoyment. My family’s trip to Europe was organised with exceptional attention to detail, especially when it came to activities that were not only fabulous, but that were suitable for us all – all with very different tastes… perfect!

Attention to detail while asking the right questions
As a business traveller, I often will drop into a city for meetings and leave having seen nothing but the airport, the hotel, the customer offices and sites I can pick up as I move around in a cab. But when my husband and I decided to extend a visit in the UK with some vacation, Emma was able to put together a fantastic experience that gave us time to see the sites, relax and explore new places with the variety we were looking for. Her attention to detail while asking the right questions of us while planning delivered a wonderful travel experience. Thank you Emma.

I’ve never felt so well looked after on an overseas trip. From the very first conversation I had with Emma about my holiday requirements, it was abundantly clear that this was going to be an extremely enjoyable and memorable holiday, with activities completely tailored to my requirements and to those of my husband and son. What sets this company apart is the sheer depth of care, creativity and dedication that goes into the planning and delivery dash; every detail was handled with precision and we didn’t needs to think about anything, except to be where our app told us to be! Emma took the time to understand not just what I wanted from this trip, but also what I didn’t know I needed. The accommodation, experiences and insider access she arranged were beyond anything I could have planned myself, even if I had had the time. Her warmth, professionalism and obsession with excellence made me feel like her only client. Thank you!

Expertly tailored trip to France

Unique and wonderful experience
I recently returned from the most superb trip, expertly planned by Portmanteau Travel. I visited England and Scotland and then made a stop in Indonesia on the way home for a diving trip – the marine life was amazing and our team leader ensured our boat went to the best places to see it all. I never would have known about the hotels I stayed in during my trip, all so unique and so perfect for me, especially in Scotland, where I stayed in the most beautiful castle. I had the whole place to myself and stayed in the same room as Winston Churchill had stayed in when he visited! All of the activities planned for me were just superb and the attention to detail extremely impressive. Looking forward to the next trip and many more planned by Emma and her team.
