Pari has been driving a wedge between her parents, Mihir and Tulsi, by influencing Naina. As Dussehra festivities begin, Mihir decides to spend the day with Naina rather than Tulsi.
The episode of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 starts with Tulsi asking Ritik to give Pari a dress, to which Ritik questions Tulsi about why she isn’t doing so. Tulsi explains to Ritik that Pari continues to deceive everyone and make false statements. Ritik reassures Tulsi that he stands by her as she confronts her upbringing, expressing his strong belief in her and saying that while he thinks Pari has made a mistake, she will eventually come to understand it. Tulsi informs Ritik that she knows Pari is still in touch with Ranvijay and that she is waiting for the truth to come out. Shobha is overjoyed when Tulsi gifts her a dress as well
Meanwhile, as Naina gets ready for the Dandiya dance, she invites Mihir to join her, but Mihir declines the invitation. After Naina insists he should come, Mihir agrees to it. Naina tells Mihir that Mitali and Angad also want him at the Dandiya. When Mihir calls Angad, he tells him that Mitali is on her way and asks Angad to take care of her. When Angad inquires if Mihir will attend, he suddenly ends the call.
Later, Ranvijay tells Subhash that he plans to take over the Virani business soon. Ranvijay shares his strategy with Subhash, suggesting the Viranis will approach him with an offer, but Subhash warns him not to get his hopes up. Subhash also informs Ranvijay that he has started to manipulate Vrinda. Meanwhile, Tulsi assures Shobha that Mihir will join the celebrations, and Shobha expresses her hopes that he will. Later on, Tulsi observes that Pari has not worn the dress she had given her.
After Ritik attempts to talk to her, Pari approaches Naina in front of Tulsi, but she stops him. Naina tries to speak to Tulsi after Pari mentions that she is wearing her lehenga, but Pari pulls her away. Pari thanks Naina for bringing Mihir along. When Naina tells Pari that Mihir is attending for his family, Pari gives Naina credit for it. From that point on, Pari begins to prioritize Naina.
At Shantiniketan, Tulsi meets Vrinda, who is anxiously waiting for Mihir. Vrinda, who hasn’t worn the traditional attire, feels accepted when she explains to Tulsi that she has come with her coworkers from the office. Upon seeing Vrinda distressed, Angad greets the workers but chooses not to engage with her. Just as Vrinda is about to get hurt, she saves Angad, and Shobha witnesses her act of kindness. Although Angad is rescued by Vrinda, he remains silent.
Gayatri thanks Naina for taking care of Mihir, expressing her happiness to see both her and Mihir.
Later, Shobha smiles upon seeing Tulsi take Vrinda along with her as she tries to leave. Vrinda wants to leave when Tulsi shows her the dress, but Tulsi appreciates her honesty in the workplace, despite the notice period. Tulsi insists that Vrinda stays after thanking her for her honesty. While Shobha appears to view Vrinda as a suitable match for Angad, Tulsi warns her that Vrinda is already engaged. Although Shobha believes they can bring Vrinda and Angad closer, Tulsi informs her that Mihir has already chosen Mitali for Angad.
As the episode concludes, Mihir arrives at Naina’s house for Dussehra while Tulsi patiently waits for him.
