The movie has now slowed down after a great second weekend with increasing receipts. In India, though, it surpassed Rs 450 crore. A Sacnilk report says that the movie had a successful second weekend at the box office. The film’s weekend total came to Rs 78.75 crore after earning Rs 39 crore on its second Saturday and Rs 39.75 crore on Sunday. On the second Monday, however, the movie’s earnings fell dramatically, totalling just Rs 13.50 crore. It now has a total domestic box office receipt of Rs 451.90 crore.
Kantara Chapter 1 debuted with a collection of Rs 61.85 crore, earning Rs 45.4 crore on Day 2, Rs 55 crore on Day 3, Rs 63 crore on Day 4, Rs 31.5 crore on Day 5, Rs 34.25 crore on Day 6, and Rs 25.25 crore on Day 7. The film earned Rs 21.15 crore on Day 8, 22.25 crore on Day 9, and 39 crore on Day 10. According to early estimates, the film earned another Rs 39 crore on Day 11, bringing the total revenue to Rs 437.65 crore in India net.
