Liverpool vs Man United live: Full Premier League lineups

Liverpool will move a point behind Premier League leaders Arsenal should Arne Slot’s side win at home to 12th-placed Manchester United on Sunday.

The Reds have lost their last three matches in all competitions, including 2-1 defeats at Chelsea and Crystal Palace in the top flight.

United beat Sunderland 2-0 at home on October 4 but are yet to win consecutive games in 2025/26 or prevail away in any competition.

You can follow 101GreatGoals.com’s live updates from Liverpool vs Manchester United in the Premier League here. Read on for team news and line-ups, as well as details on how to watch the action live.

Liverpool lineup vs Manchester United

Ibrahima Konate starts for Liverpool, having been a doubt after suffering a muscle injury in the defeat at Palace that kept the centre-back out of France’s fixtures during the international break

Wataru Endo withdrew from Japan duty and is not involved, but fellow midfielder Ryan Gravenberch starts despite being substituted at half-time of the Netherlands’ home win over Finland last Sunday.

Goalkeeper Alisson Becker’s hamstring injury means Giorgi Mamardashvili makes his second Premier League appearance.

Asked about Becker’s return date, Slot said it was “so difficult to say” because “the end phase of rehab can always give you positives or negatives”, adding that the Brazil international will miss at least another two games.

Alexander Isak starts for a third consecutive game for his new club. “Fitness-wise, I think he’s now close to the level he should be,” said Slot.

“We can judge him in a fair way from now on.”

Liverpool starting XI: Giorgi Mamardashvili, Conor Bradley, Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk, Milos Kerkez, Mohamed Salah, Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, Cody Gakpo, Alexander Isak

Liverpool substitutes: Freddie Woodman, Joe Gomez, Florian Wirtz, Federico Chiesa, Curtis Jones, Hugo Ekitike, Andy Robertson, Jeremie Frimpong, Rio Ngumoha

Man United lineup vs Liverpool

Centre-back Lisandro Martinez is not yet ready to return from a long-term knee injury for United, while wideman Noussair Mazraoui had been a doubt and is on the bench.

“Licha is near,” said manager Ruben Amorim, adding that Martinez is set to return to training.

Goalkeeper Senne Lammens retains his place after making his debut with a clean sheet against the Black Cats.

“He’s not [legendary United goalkeeper Peter] Schmeichel yet,” quipped Amorim. “He’s a young guy with talent.

“He showed a lot of composure and the fans liked it. But again, that is in the past; we need to prove it in the next game.”

Man United starting XI: Senne Lammens, Matthijs de Ligt, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Amad Diallo, Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot, Bryan Mbeumo, Mason Mount, Matheus Cunha

Man United substitutes: Altay Bayindir, Noussair Mazraoui, Joshua Zirkzee, Patrick Dorgu, Leny Yoro, Manuel Ugarte, Ayden Heaven, Benjamin Sesko, Kobbie Mainoo
