Thamma vs Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat Box Office Collection Day 3: Thamma, a brand-new horror comedy film, has hit theatres on October 21. With films like Stree and Bhediya, this Maddock house movie will be the 5th installment in their horror-comedy world. The movie has Rashmika Mandanna and Ayushman Khurana in the key roles. On the other hand, Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa’s Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat has shown incredible resilence in carving out a place for itself at the box office against fierce competition from Thamma. Sacnilk’s most recent assessment states that although the movie’s Day 3 collection suffered a minor decline, it is still doing well.

On October 21, 2025, this Maddock film was officially released on theatres. The film made a total of Rs 24 Cr on its first day of release. This vampire movie made Rs 18.6 Cr on its second day of release. Regarding the third day’s box office receipts for Thamma, Sacnilk reports that the film has made an estimated Rs 12.50 crore.
The total box office receipts are presently at Rs 55.10 crore, which is getting closer to the Rs 60 Cr milestone.
The Harshvardhan Rane starrer has made Rs 9 crore on its first day of release, which is a good start for a movie in its category. The movie took in Rs 7.5 crore on Day 2, a modest decrease of about 16.67%. Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat earned Rs 6 crore by Day 3, increasing its total revenue for the first three days to about Rs 22.75 crore.
Thanks to good word-of-mouth and growing viewer interest, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat has managed to hold onto its attraction even though it is just in its third day, and the total revenues are predicted to increase. Despite a low number on Day 3, the film has crossed Rs 20 crore in India for the weekend.
Thamma plot
In this horror comedy, we see the romance between Rashmika Mandanna and Ayushman Khurana. Thamma centres on journalist Alok Goyal (played by Ayushmann Khurrana). After meeting a mysterious Tadaka (Rashmika Mandanna) in a haunted woodland, he transforms into a vampire or betal. Their love story takes a violent turn when Yakshasan (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), the vampire king, adds havoc.
