If fans were expecting the Minnesota Vikings to put on a show on Thursday Night Football, they were heavily disappointed. The Vikings laid an egg in primetime against the Los Angeles Chargers. After an Isaiah Rodgers pick-six was taken off the board, everything went downhill for Minnesota. It wasn’t pretty for either side of the ball, and fans took to social media to rip into the poor showing from the Vikings.

NFL Fans Take Shots at the Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings were terrible and are dropping below .500 for the first time in 2025. Carson Wentz threw a bad interception, the team had 34 yards on 11 carries, and they only mustered 10 points.
The defense allowed 37 points, let Justin Herbert throw all over them, and watched Kimani Vidal run all over the field. There wasn’t much to smile about, and the fans let them hear it.
“Vikings please get your sh*t together,” said one fan.

“This vikings team is just so damn soft,” added another fan.
The Vikings did not get it together at any point tonight. They had a little hope after a Josh Metellus interception and a Jordan Addison score, but they needed two fourth-down penalties from the Chargers to give them the opportunity to find the end zone. After tonight’s blowout, fans are getting ready to admit that the Vikings aren’t good and are a shell of their team from 2024.
“Well, I think it’s time to admit the @Vikings aren’t good. So strange after last year and all the upgrades,” said one fan.

The Vikings may have had a disappointing end to their 2024 season, but they were one of the best teams in the NFC. Unfortunately, 14 wins weren’t enough for the divisional crown. In 2025, they can no longer win 14 regular season games after tonight’s loss to the Chargers.
The Vikings made moves to be better and haven’t seen their roster perform to the level they were expecting. They let Sam Darnold and Daniel Jones walk, though, who have been lighting it up in Seattle and Indianapolis. One fan let them know what they are missing out on with Wentz at the helm right now.
“Could’ve had: Sam Darnold Danny Dimes Aaron Rodgers But nah, let’s roll with Hero Ball Wentz and some sh*tty, overdrafted bum who can’t stay in the field. You guys make me drink,” said one fan.

The fans are getting annoyed with how the season has played out. One fan is even ready to jump ship and find a new team. While the stipulation is that the team completely rebrands, the fan is sick of the Vikings’ disappointing.
“I hope someone buys the Vikings and changes their name so I can pick a new team, cause I’m sick of seeing this sh*t every night,” said one fan.
The Vikings aren’t going anywhere. They do have to figure quite a few things out if they want to turn their season around, though. They have a long week to digest the loss, flush it, and prepare for their next game.
In their next four games, the Vikings will play three divisional games against each of their divisional foes. The other team waiting for them is the Baltimore Ravens and two-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson, as long as he is healthy. This will be the ultimate test of where this team stands and whether the playoffs are a realistic possibility.
