BCCI provides medical support and recovery rimeline Remains unclear
Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has prioritized Iyer’s health over his quick return, stating that the batter will remain in Sydney until doctors declare him fully fit to travel. Iyer is out of danger but will continue resting under observation for several more days. Though doctors say his spleen injury is recoverable with time and rest, the recovery period could extend beyond two weeks.
