The Fantastic Four: First Steps will arrive on Disney+ soon, marking the start of a new chapter for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Fantastic Four movie franchise has a new highest-grossing entry, with the MCU’s take on Marvel’s First Family finishing its box office run with $522 million. While that was a victory, the number falls short of expectations for the film.

Before release, the last entry in the MCU’s 2025 movie slate was thought to have the potential of getting close to $1 billion. After all, the Fantastic Four were finally coming home. However, all 2025 MCU films faced issues to some extent at the box office. Still, The Fantastic Four: First Steps‘ Marvel reveals made it exciting, with its streaming release a popular topic.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ Disney+ Release Date Has Been Revealed

After months of speculation, The Fantastic Four: First Steps‘ Disney+ release date has been revealed. The MCU movie will arrive on the streamer very soon, debuting on November 5. Before then, Marvel fans can already check out Doctor Doom’s MCU debut and more via VOD or by purchasing the Fantastic Four movie physically. The film is available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps was released in theaters on July 25. That means its Disney+ release date is following the pattern of another 2025 MCU movie. Anthony Mackie’s Captain America: Brave New World was released on February 14. It arrived on Disney+ 103 days later. That is the same exact distance between the Fantastic Four movie’s theatrical debut and Disney+ release.

No More MCU Releases Are Coming In 2025

Initially, Marvel Studios had one more release set to come before 2025 was over. However, plans have changed. Disney+’s Wonder Man was meant to release in December, but due to Marvel fearing competition with Christmas programming, the MCU’s next TV show was delayed. The live-action Wonder Man series will now release all of its 8 episodes on January 27, 2026.

After the announcement, the only wait that was left for MCU fans in 2025 was the one for the reveal of when The Fantastic Four: First Steps would arrive on Disney+. However, now that Marvel has already announced the team’s streaming debut, there is no more content from the MCU set to come out in 2025.

The next release on Disney+ is Wonder Man in January, with the MCU’s next movie being Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 24, 2026. While trailers for the next Spider-Man and Avengers movies could come before 2025 is over, no new MCU content is set to arrive on Disney+. As such, The Fantastic Four: First Steps‘ Disney+ release ends the MCU’s year.
