As the premiere date draws closer, fans now have a clearer look at the second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians from Disney+, with a new trailer just released. Adapting the plot of Rick Riordan’s second Percy Jackson book, The Sea of Monsters, season 2 will see Percy (Walker Scobell) and Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) going on a rogue quest to save Grover (Aryan Simhadri) and Camp Half-Blood.
They are joined by Percy’s recently-discovered half-brother Tyson (new cast member Daniel Diemer), and fellow demigod/frenemy Clarisse (Dior Goodjohn). Charlie Bushnell will also reprise his role as Luke, while other actors joining the cast include Courtney B. Vance, Sandra Bernhard, Kristen Schaal, Margaret Cho, Andra Day, Rosemarie DeWitt, Kevin Chacon, Beatrice Kitsos, and Tamara Smart.

Percy Jackson season 2 will also set up the next installment, as characters from the third book, The Titan’s Curse, have already been cast. The Percy Jackson season 3 cast is already confirmed to include Levi Chrisopulos as Nico di Angelo, Olive Abercrombie as Bianca di Angelo, Dafne Keen as Artemis, Saara Chaudry as Zoë Nightshade, and Kate McKinnon as Aphrodite.
