Jatadhara Box Office Collection Day 3: The first day of release saw the new film Jatadhara featuring South Indian star Sudheer Babu and Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha, performing very well at the box office, it fully earned it. The movie is a supernatural action drama which enfolds the audience in a unique mix of spirituality, mystery, and thriller. The film’s narrative and remarkable display of it have the audience’s admiration. According to reports, the film grossed approximately Rs 1.07 crore on its first day, which is considered a strong opening for a Telugu film, especially considering it was simultaneously released in Hindi. The film earned a similar amount on its second day, earning Rs 1.07 crore. According to initial reports, the Sacnilk website reported that the film recorded an occupancy of 14.92% in Telugu and 7.68% in Hindi. The film’s presence in the Telugu belt was strong. While the morning show had a 12.21% audience attendance, it increased to 17.42% by the evening show.On the other hand, the film had a slow start in the Hindi belt, where occupancy increased to 11.61% by the evening. According to a report by Sacnilk, the film earned an additional Rs 0.22 crore, bringing its total box office collection to Rs 2.36 crore.
Jatadhara: Story and cast
The film Jatadhara is directed by Abhishek Jaiswal and Venkat Kalyan. The story is based on an ancient mythological mystery. The film depicts how, in ancient times, some royal families sealed their treasures with sacred mantras (bandhanas).One of these was the Pisachi Bandana, which awakens a powerful guardian spirit called Dhanapisachi.
Shiva (Sudheer Babu), the protagonist of the movie, is a male who trusts only scientific explanations and does not accept the existence of spirits. However, when he gets involved in an old curse and riddle, his viewpoint gets altered entirely. He is in between the reality of his belief and the fear of God. Sonakshi Sinha’s role is enigmatic and fascinating, which not only introduces but also sustains the thrill and the complexity of the plot. Moreover, besides these, veteran actors like Shilpa Shirodkar, Indira Krishnan, Ravi Prakash, Rajiv Kanakala, and Subhalekha Sudhakar are also there in significant parts.
