In Naruto: Shippuden, the Five Kage are seen as some of the strongest characters in the series, but there’s one character that could beat them all at the same time, and it isn’t just Madara Uchiha. Each of the Five Kage brings something interesting to the table, and the fact that they’ve fought together is massive.
The Kage of each of the major villages in the series weren’t always friends. For a majority of Naruto, the ninja villages were at war with one another, making their future alliance seem like a miracle. During the Fourth Great Ninja War, however, the villages were forced to work together in order to face Madara, Obito, and everyone who was reanimated.
Towards the end of Naruto: Shippuden, there are a few characters who receive significant power-ups, but one stands out. He gets so much stronger towards the end of the series that even the Five Kage together don’t stand a chance.
The Five Kage Are Powerful, But…
Each of the Five Kage Are Monsters
The Five Kage have earned their spots as the Kage within their respective villages. Each of them wields a ridiculously powerful ability that separates them from normal ninja, and their intelligence in battle is second to none. The Hokage, Tsunade, is famed as the single strongest kunoichi in the world, mastering medical ninjutsu.
Gaara is the youngest of the Kage, but his ability to command sand is second to none. Mei Terumi is the Mizukage during this era and used her Lava Release with expert precision. The Fourth Raikage, A, is physically the most powerful, almost killing Naruto and Sasuke on separate occasions.
Finally, Ōnoki rounds out the group as the Third Tsuchikage. His Particle Style is almost unblockable as well, but even with the combined might of all Five Kage, it can’t even touch Madara Uchiha. Later in the series, however, a certain character proves that Madara isn’t as untouchable as the Kage might’ve believed.
They’re Not Stronger than Might Guy
He Could’ve Easily Beaten Them at the Same Time
Might Guy could easily beat the Five Kage, even if they were all working together at the same time. When the Five Kage lose to Madara, he’s barely putting in any effort. He notes that they’re leagues below him, and at this point in the series, he hadn’t even absorbed any of the Ten-Tail’s chakra either.
During his fight against Might Guy, Madara notes that Guy is the single strongest taijutsu user he’s ever faced. Might Guy also nearly killed the empowered Madara, putting a hole in his torso and ripping off one of his arms. Madara was considerably stronger against Guy than the Kage, and even then, the Kage could do nothing against him.
If Might Guy unleashed the Eighth Gate of Death, one of the strongest jutsus in Naruto, against the Kage, they wouldn’t stand a chance. It’s an interesing moment and it shows just how powerful Might Guy really was at his peak in the Naruto franchise.
