Buffalo Bills heiress Jessica Pegula watched history unfold as franchise quarterback Josh Allen rewrote the NFL record book, becoming the fastest player ever to reach 300 total touchdowns in a Week 17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. The milestone tied together the Bills’ modern-era dominance under the Pegula family with Allen’s rise as one of the league’s most dynamic quarterbacks. While the final score on the day did not favor Buffalo, the performance itself added another defining chapter to a remarkable run.
Inside Jessica Pegula’s Connection to the Pegula Sports Empire
Best known globally as a top-ranked tennis professional, Pegula is also deeply connected to the Bills through her family. She is the daughter of billionaire businessman Terry Pegula, who built his fortune after founding East Resources, an oil and natural gas company that was later sold for billions.
That success paved the way for the Pegula family’s expansion into professional sports ownership, most notably the NFL’s Buffalo Bills and the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres. Terry and Kim Pegula officially became owners of the Bills in Oct. 2014 after unanimous approval from league owners.
Pegula acknowledged the achievement in real time, sharing the moment with her followers on social media. She reposted a graphic highlighting Allen’s historic feat to her Instagram Stories, offering a brief nod to a milestone.

The history-making moment arrived on Dec. 28, 2025, when Allen reached 300 total touchdowns in his 127th career game, counting both regular-season and playoff games. That mark made him both the fastest and youngest player in NFL history to reach the milestone, edging the previous standard set by Patrick Mahomes in 139 games.
At 29, Allen also became the only player to reach 300 total touchdowns before turning 30, placing him in rare company historically associated with legends such as Dan Marino and Peyton Manning. The record-setting score came during a tense Week 17 matchup against the Eagles, when Allen powered across the goal line on a two-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Buffalo fell by a 13-12 score after a failed two-point attempt late. Still, Allen finished with two rushing touchdowns and pushed his career total to 301. His production underscores his unique dual-threat profile: 220 passing touchdowns, an NFL quarterback record 79 rushing touchdowns, and two receiving scores.

That versatility has also placed him among a select group, alongside Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Drew Brees, as the only players to post at least six seasons with 35 or more offensive touchdowns.
2025 Was a Defining Year for Pegula on the WTA Tour
Pegula put together another consistent season in 2025, remaining a regular presence at the later stages of major tournaments and finishing the year inside the WTA top 10. She won three singles titles, claiming the ATX Open on hard courts, the Charleston Open for her first career clay title, and the Bad Homburg Open on grass, giving her victories on all three surfaces in the same season.
Pegula also reached WTA 1000 finals at the Miami Open and the Wuhan Open. Her best Grand Slam result came at the US Open, where she advanced to the semifinals, while she reached the fourth round at Roland Garros. She ended the year with a 53-23 record, earned more than $5.2 million in prize money, qualified for the WTA Finals for a fourth straight season, and closed 2025 ranked world No. 6.
