Sabrina the Teenage Witch Officially Returns in 2026 With a Brand-New Series

The ’90s were a golden era for television, and among the biggest hits of the time was ABC’s Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Shows like Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina prove the character’s popularity lives on, and now the half-witch, half-mortal is returning in a brand-new series.

Sabrina the Teenage Witch is stepping away from the silver screen and officially returning to comics in fall 2026, with the first issue of Corinna Bechko and Kano’s Sabrina the Teenage Witch set to hit shelves this October.

While details remain scarce nine months out from release, the series’ confirmation proves the iconic franchise is still thriving and ready to deliver new stories for both new and returning fans.

Oni Press and Archie Comics Announce Three New Ongoing Series for 2026

In a recent press release, Oni Press and Archie Comics announced a new collaboration that will give life to three new ongoing comic series beginning in fall 2026: Archie, Archie in Hell, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch. The latter is particularly noteworthy for ’90s and early 2000s kids who grew up watching Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

While many fans likely fell in love with Sabrina on the silver screen, the character actually first appeared in Archie Comics. As such, Sabrina’s return to the medium feels well-deserved and like a natural transition, especially after a surge in popularity following Netflix’s most recent take on the teenage witch.

For those interested in all three releases, fans can expect the launch of the new Archie series in September 2026, followed by October’s debut of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and November’s release of Archie in Hell. W. Maxwell Prince will write Archie, with art by Fábio Moon and Nick Cagnetti, while Patrick Horvath writes Archie in Hell with art by Tyler Crook.

2026 will truly usher in a nostalgic era for fans of these IPs. It will also be interesting to see how the partnership between Oni Press and Archie Comics develops, and whether these three announced titles are just the beginning of more new series to come. For now, fans can look forward to fresh Archie and Sabrina the Teenage Witch stories on the horizon.
