The Ultimatum: Queer Love season 2 features cast member Mel Vitale, and there is a lot to know about her. The Ultimatum: Queer Love is back for its second season, more than two years after the premiere and success of season 1, which aired in June 2023. Season 2 features six couples trying to determine whether they want to take the next big step in their relationship. With one partner being the ultimatum issuer and the other being the ultimatum receiver, the dynamics at play are complicated as the cast date each other for a week and then choose a trial wife.
The trial marriage part lasts three weeks before the original partners come back together and spend another three weeks hashing out their relationships. The participants must then decide whether to her engaged, split up, or leave with someone else. Queer Love is a spinoff of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On, which has three complete seasons behind it, with season 3 ending in December 2024. Lots of messy situations have arisen in Queer Love season 2, and Mel has been at the center of a lot of drama.

However, Mel started to change her tune after talking to her trial marriage partner, Dayna Mathews, whom she grew extremely close and attached to.

During the dating phase of The Ultimatum: Queer Love, Mel opened up to Dayna about living with a serious medical condition.
While she didn’t detail what her diagnosis was, she did describe that she lives with chronic pain.
Mel said she had days when her pain is blinding, and it’s hard for her to function.

Mel Is Self-Promoting
On Instagram, Mel had just over 800 followers before the season premiered, and describes in her bio, “That’s Show-Biz, Baby.” Mel has been doing some self-promoting of her appearance in The Ultimatum: Queer Love, and the viewing and party events that go with it. Moreover, Mel promotes her food truck business as well. She also has a few shameless selfies on her account, and interestingly, there are no pictures of Marie despite being together for four years before the show.
