
The Mubadala Citi DC Open is set to make waves again in 2025 with a dazzling player field headlined by fan favorites Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, Jessica Pegula, and defending champion Paula Badosa. They’ll be joined by a thrilling slate of stars including Ben Shelton, Sofia Kenin, Gael Monfils, Amanda Anisimova, and Elena Rybakina—making this edition the strongest in the tournament’s 56-year history.
Taking place July 19–27 at the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center in Rock Creek Park, this tournament is the only combined ATP-WTA 500-level event in the world. With seven top-10 players across both tours, five Grand Slam champions, and 16 American contenders—including the top nine American men—the 2025 edition promises elite matchups and electric atmosphere.

New names like Jakub Mensik, Emma Navarro, and Flavio Cobolli add youthful flair, while seasoned champions such as Daniil Medvedev, Naomi Osaka, and Kei Nishikori bring prestige and star power to Washington’s center court.

The tournament boasts a 48-player ATP singles draw and 32-player WTA singles draw, plus daily fan experiences, autograph sessions, and top-notch food and entertainment partnerships—cementing its role as a highlight of the summer sports calendar.
With anticipation building, tennis fans from around the world are set to converge on the U.S. capital for what promises to be a spectacular celebration of athleticism, community, and sport at its highest level.
