Shefali Jariwala’s ex-husband Harmeet Singh mourns her untimely death as he shared an emotional tribute on social media.
Actress Shefali Jariwala passed away on Friday night after she suffered a cardiac arrest and her demise news left everyone shocked. Her ex-husband Harmeet Singh and his brother, Manmeet Singh – popularly known as the Meet Bros mourned the actor’s untimely death. In his statement since her death, he told a media portal that he is shattered by her death and was currently in Europe.
Harmeet Singh on ex-wife Shefali Jariwala’s death
Shefali’s ex-husband, Harmeet was married to her from 2005 to 2009. He remembered meeting her again a couple of years ago and said, “I remember having gone to Bangladesh for a show, about three years ago. Sunny Leone and Shefali were also there. We three came back together in a private plane, and Shefali and I sat next to each other. And yes, there was quite a long conversation that we had. Apart from that, I did meet her at a few events and parties where I remember we both wishing each other warmly.”
Shefai Jariwala’s sudden death left everyone shocked
Shefali, who was 42 years old rose to fame through the remix of the song Kaanta Laga. She was declared dead after her husband Parag Tyagi and others brought her to the hospital in Mumbai at around 11:15 pm on Friday night. The autopsy has been performed on her body and the cause of death has been “reserved”, a police official said on Saturday. The body was sent to the civic-run Cooper Hospital for post-mortem and her last rites were performed by her family.
Manmeet Singh, Shefali’s former brother-in-law paid his tribute and wrote, “Rest in peace Shef. Only God knows why He called you back so soon. Will always cherish the amazing moments spent with you. May Waheguru be with you on your onward journey (sic).”

Shefali met her husband, Parag Tyagi, at a friend’s party. It was love at first sight for Parag and the two dated for a few years before getting married in 2014. They participated together in the dance reality show Nach Baliye and gave major love goals to everyone with their chemistry.
