While Monster Hunter Wilds’ second major update is set to drop in a few days, the developers aren’t stopping there. Capcom’s best-selling game for 2025 will soon get at least two more major updates before the year is over.

Hunters can expect Title Update 3 and Title Update 4 to be released in 2025, and as one might expect, this will usher in new content for free.

Monster Hunter Wilds Next Two Updates Confirmed For 2025

While Capcom hasn’t revealed every major detail regarding Title Update 3 and TU4, we at least know what direction the developers are headed. The details were shared on the official Monster Hunter Japanese X account, where the developers specifically pointed out how they are upgrading the endgame content.

Title Update 3 – (Late September)

Capcom has mentioned that they plan to add a new set of high-difficulty quests, along with new talismans that feature randomly assigned composite skills as quest rewards.

The talismans will have weapon skills, armor skills, and slots randomly assigned upon appraisal, and this will expand the range of skill builds, and will encourage players to gear up and take on challenges with a more diverse loadout.

Title Update 4 – (Winter)

In the game’s last major update of the year, the endgame content will be expanded, and it’s mentioned that new monsters will be added.

Regarding gameplay elements, Capcom says they are working to ensure previously acquired Artian weapons will not go to waste. The developers hope players will continue to craft and upgrade Artian weapons while looking forward to future patches for the game.

Capcom adds that more info about both updates will be revealed at a later date. Outside of patches for bug fixes and the like, these content updates are planned to be released every “few months,” which the developers know isn’t ideal for some players, but they are asking for patience and understanding.

Moving forward, the developers state they will share updates on the development team’s responses to community requests and feedback.

The dev team also plans to communicate specific details, which include minor points that aren’t discussed in the Title Update shows via the game’s X account.

As for the next major update, Title Update 2 is set to launch on June 30 and will introduce Lagiacrus and Seregios as new monsters for hunters to slay. Layered Weapons, Photo Mode, and new gameplay improvements are also planned to be released as part of the download.
