PlayStation Releases For The Week Of June 30 To July 6

Summary

  • No major game releases this week, expect smaller titles like 9 Years of Shadows & Biped 2 (105 characters)
  • Mid-Year Deals promotion ongoing on PSN for those looking for game discounts (83 characters)
  • Gamescom in August may divert attention, lull in big game releases temporary (74 characters)

It’s another week, and that means another set of fresh PS4 and PS5 games are being added to the PlayStation Store.

After the release of Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding 2: On the Beach last week, it’s a relatively calm week for releases for the week of June 30 to July 6.

Long-Awaited Action Game Finally Goes On Sale For First Time In PSN’s Mid-Year Promotion

This action game, released last year, is a title many people have been waiting for to receive a price reduction.

As you can see, there is no major game release planned for this week, which is understandable given we’re in the middle of the year, and chances are, most publishers are gearing up for their big guns to be released in Q3 and Q4.

Not only that, but gamescom is happening in August, which means a lot of attention will be diverted to the event.

If you’re looking for new games to play, the PSN Store’s Mid-Year Deals promotion is still ongoing, and we rounded out the top 10 best deals in the sale.

Don’t expect this little lull in big game releases to last for long, as one major title about a psychological horror sequel is due for release soon. For now, enjoy the short break to soak in as much of Death Stranding 2 as you can. If you need help, we have a multitude of guides for Kojima’s latest masterpiece that can help you in defeating specific bosses and more available in our DS2 game page.
