Saiyaara movie starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda is among the highly-anticipated movies. However, CBFC has demanded a few cuts in the film.
Ananya Panday‘s cousin Ahaan Panday is marking his Bollywood debut with the movie Saiyaara. The film also marks the debut of Aneet Padda who is the female lead opposite Ahaan. The movie is all set to hit the theatres on July 18. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film is a musical romantic drama that describes a passionate love story. The trailer has already created quite a stir. Now, ahead of the release of the film, reports suggest that the movie has faced the wrath of CBFC. The Censor Board has reportedly asked the makers to cut a scene and make a few changes.
Saiyaara faces censor board scissors
As per a report in entertainment news portal Bollywood Hungama, Mohit Suri has been asked to tone down a few scenes that are deemed too bold for the certification. Ahaan Panday’s Saiyaara has been granted U/A certificate by the Censor Board. Report suggests that a 10-second scene featuring “sensual, intimacy, body exposure visuals” is to be cut from the final version of the movie. Further, the report also mentions that CBFC labeled four instances from the film as “objectionable language”. The makers have been asked to edit it with “appropriate” alternatives. CBFC also ordered the makers to add the static promotion about helmet safety during the scenes where their are bike ride sequences.

Now, with all the cuts, the time line of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda’s movie Siyaara is 2 hours, 36 minutes, and 50 seconds. The advance ticket sales of the movies began a few days before the release and it has received a good response. There is great amount of buzz around the movie. It is being anticipated that the movie is going to take a great start at the box office on the opening day. It is being anticipated that the movie will take a double digit opening. Reports suggest that the first day business of Saiyaara would be around Rs 10-12 crore. Reportedly, midnight shows have also been added. The film is produced under Yash Raj Films Banner.
