Actor Rahul Sharma recently entered Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Anshuman. The show that has Rohit Purohit and Samridhii Shukla in the lead is now at the top of the TRP chart. Anshuman’s entry in Abhira and Armaan’s love saga has helped the show to get the needed boost in the ratings. The current storyline had Anshuman revealing the truth of Maira/Pookie to Abhira. Armaan separated Abhira from their daughter Pookie. For seven years, Abhira kept hunting for her. Even when Armaan returned, he did not inform Abhira that Maira is Pookie. But Anshuman came to her rescue and launched a mission to find Pookie. He got to know that Maira is Pookie and revealed the truth to Abhira. So what next?

In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) was supposed to marry Anshuman. However, he stalled the wedding and decided to find Pookie first in order to make Abhira happy. So now that Abhira is reunited with her Pookie, will she get married to Anshuman? In a chat with entertainment news portal Bollywood Spy, actor Rahul Sharma revealed what is going to happen next in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. He was asked whether Anshuman and Abhira’s marry will happen soon now that she has found her Pokie. To this, the actor said that it is too early too talk about marriage between Anshuman and Abhira. He explained that Pookie’s truth revelation is like a major shock received by Abhira and she will take some time to come out of it. Further, he was also asked whether Anshuman would like to be the father-figure in Maira’s life if Abhira agrees to marry him. To this, Rahul Sharma says, “Definitely. Anshuman can be a father-figure to Maira but he cannot be her father. He will do all the adjustments as that was the promise he made to Abhira for her happiness. So I don’t think there is any issue.”
