Produced by Asit Kumar Modi, the show has brought enough fame to many celebrities. The characters of the show have become iconic and are etched in everyone’s hearts. Especially, Dayaben. Disha Vakani played the role of Dayaben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and became a household name. However, the actress quit the show after embracing motherhood. Since then, fans have been waiting for Dayaben to return in Jethalal’s life. But has Asit Modi found her replacement?
Disha Vakani to be replaced in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah?
Well, a recent video of Asit Modi that has gone viral on social media has left fans excited. Asit Kumar Modi recently met comedian Bharti Singh at an event. They exchanged a warm hug and Bharti Singh addressed Asit Kumar Modi as ‘bhai’. She then hilariously sang the theme song of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The producer added to the comedy. He said that had Jethalal been a Punjabi, Bhati would have been Daya ben. He said, “Agar Jethalal Punjabi hote toh Bharti Dayaben hoti.” As soon as the video of the two hit the internet, netizens had a field day wondering about Dilip Joshi and Bharti Singh’s combination as Jethalal and Daya ben. One of the comments on the video read, “Jetha aur @bharti.laughterqueen ki jodi kaisi lagti just imagine.”

When will Dayaben return to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah?
It has been years since Disha Vakani’s exit from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and makers are unable to find a perfect replacement to play Dayaben in the show. However, through interviews, Asit Modi has shared that he is positive that Dayaben will return to the show someday. Even without Dayaben, the show is doing well in terms of TRP numbers. Over the past few weeks, it was the number one show on the TRP chart. This week, the show has slipped down to the third spot. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Anupamaa are the top two shows.
