Rankings for the Top TV Songs chart are based on song and show data provided by Tunefind and ranked using a formula blending that data with sales and streaming information tracked by Luminate during the corresponding period of June 2025.

Rainbow Kitten Surprise reigns with “It’s Called: Freefall,” a song that was featured in the third season premiere of the Netflix series, which first aired on June 5.

In June 2025, “It’s Called: Freefall” earned 12 million official on-demand U.S. streams, according to Luminate. Released as part of the band’s 2018 album How to: Friend, Love, Freefall, the song reached Billboard’s Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart five years later in 2023 due to short-form video virality, peaking at No. 13 that March.

“It’s Called: Freefall” snags the No. 1 spot on June 2025’s Top TV Songs chart over a trio of entries from the new U.S.-based season of Love Island, led by Demi Lovato’s “Confident” at No. 2 (4.2 million streams, 1,000 downloads) and followed by Chappell Roan’s “Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl” (No. 5, 3.9 million streams) and Janelle Monae’s “Make Me Feel” (No. 6, 1.4 million streams), the lattermost featured in the new season’s opening sequence.

The seventh season of the Peacock reality series, an offshoot of the reality show that originated in the United Kingdom, premiered on June 3 and ran through July 13, meaning more appearances from the season are possible on next month’s ranking.

FX and Hulu’s The Bear also makes a return to the chart following the June 18 premiere of its fourth season, with Eddie Vedder’s “Save It for Later” and Emmylou Harris’ “Tougher Than the Rest” representing the series on the chart this month. The former ranks at No. 3 (673,000 streams, 1,000 downloads), while the latter reaches No. 8 (54,000 streams).
