Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is back with its season 2, nd fans are going gaga over the same. The makers of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 are leaving no stone unturned in adding major ups and downs in their upcoming episodes. The makers have roped in a new cast to play the kids of Tulsi and Mihir, while the old star cast has reprised their roles in the show. Actress Kiran Dubey, who played Karishma Virani Dey in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi first season, left everyone shocked with her explosive green room fight experience with Smriti Irani.
Kiran Dubey reveals Smriti Irani told her to leave the room
During an interview with Vicky Lalwani, Kiran Dubey spoke about her experience working on the first season of the show and said that she does not cherish her experience. She also spoke about the fight she had with Smriti Irani in the green room. Kiran said that Smriti told her to leave the room, and it was not pleasant to continue working on the show after that. She said that they had different ideologies, but she got pumped up.
Kiran even said that she was surprised to see Smriti Irani make a comeback to TV after seeing her progress in her political career. Kiran said that, “When you are in a position of so much power, you can truly empower people at the grassroots level. If you step out of Mumbai, within a few kilometers, you see women struggling to find water. When you have a huge platform, you should not use it for a self-centred ego-driven trip.”
Kiran reveals Ekta Kapoor was conveyed fake story
Kiran said that everyone associated with Kyunki was proud of Smriti Irani’s political journey, but she believed that kind of clout could have been used in a far better manner to serve society. She said that there must be a reason to quit politics for a return to TV. Kiran said that it is natural that two people might have diverse political opinions but believes that Smriti had already made up her mind about her alliance.
Kiran worked with Ekta Kapoor on other shows after exiting Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Kiran revealed that it was not easy to calm Ekta down as she was India’s biggest producer. Kiran said she never put money on a priority and believed in taking a stand for herself. She later said that Shobha Kapoor called her up to know her side of the story. As per Dubey, the version conveyed to Ekta was not an honest one and later she met the producer at the Siddhivinayak Temple where they clarified everything.
