This is it. It’s go time. One last battle between you and victory. The Demon Lord Jagazk is the final battle of Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound. It shouldn’t come as a surprise, then, that it’s also the hardest boss in the game.
You’ll need to utilize all of your Ninja Gaiden skills to emerge victorious, as Jagazk has a lot of tricks up its sleeve.
Our guide will cover the abilities I had equipped during the battle, Jagazk’s mechanics, and the general strategy I used to defeat him and finish this great action side-scroller.
Abilities Equipped
With this being the end of the game, you should have an impressive arsenal of talismans and arts available at your disposal. Even if your inventory is pretty limited, that’s not a cause for concern.
At the end of the day, you can defeat Jagazk by not relying on your abilities and instead by staying focused on the mechanics.

Demon Lord Jagazk Attack Breakdown
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Jagazk has a lot of attacks at his disposal.
Even though there’s a lot going on, the encounter is pretty simple to understand. First, let’s go over every attack from the final Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound boss.

Demon Lord Jagazk Strategy
Jagazk is, without a doubt, the most complex boss you’ll face in Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound. Yes, there’s a lot going on, but I’m going to focus on helping you recognize what’s important so that you can defeat him. First and foremost, you need to damage his heart. Nothing else matters; attack the heart.
While he has several claw attacks, they’re all honestly pretty easy and simple to dodge. Focus on avoiding damage instead of trying to sneak in attacks. It’s not worth it. Dodging and parrying will be your best friend here. His attack animations aren’t necessarily fast, nor is he as tricky as someone like Deikrag. As such, there’s plenty of time for you to relax, get your attacks in, and get out before taking unnecessary damage.
As I mentioned earlier, during the intermission phases when his rib cage is guarding his heart, you’ll need to hit the cage with a hypercharged attack three times, then strike his heart to end them. During the second phase with Kuimori, make sure you refresh the available time in the demon realm. There’s nothing worse than realizing you’re out of time, and she’s teleported back to the bottom of the map.
After you defeat the second ribcage phase with Kuimori, use your ragebound attack to finish him off.
