A video has emerged of a Colchester fan who invades the pitch in celebration, then falls onto the cameraman after trying to flee stewards.
It is said to have following Kyreece Lisbie’s late equaliser which earned Colchester a 1-1 draw against Tranmere at JobServe Community Stadium.
The League Two opener saw Tranmere go ahead in the 15th minute through Connor Jennings, but despite chances for both sides, including a near miss from Colchester’s Jaden Williams and a saved free-kick by Tranmere’s Omari Patrick, it was a tight encounter.

Colchester head coach Danny Cowley said, per YellowAd: “It will be the first of many goals for Kyreece because that kid, wow. He came on and made such an impact.
“The great thing about him is that he just wants to run.
“Kyreece has so much energy and enthusiasm for the game, and he has a very exciting future.”
On his side’s performance of his side: “We’re certainly pleased with the way that we finished the game.
“I thought the boys that came onto the pitch gave us the energy, intensity, and enthusiasm that we want to play the game at.
“We were really able to pin them back and have complete dominance of the game, but we’re just disappointed with the first half, because that wasn’t us – it was so boring.
“We don’t want to play like that, and it felt like we played so slowly with the ball.
“Credit to Tranmere – they’re a well-organised team and they came and sat behind the ball, they were very compact and very disciplined in their distances, but we kept coming underneath the ball.
“They had one forward – our centre-halves are really good on the ball and they can beat that one forward, and we can have players higher up the pitch to then break the lines and play through them.
“If they don’t and we then lose it, then we’re in a position to then counter-press it, but today, we were too slow with our build and too many came underneath the ball.”
Tranmere Rovers manager Andy Crosby said after the game: “Delighted with the defensive resolution of the team, of all the players who were on the pitch.
“We defended our box really well, we restricted them for so much ball possession to very limited chances.
“They were the team in the ascendancy and I controlled the game for the majority of it.
“But we’ve come here on the opening day of the season and picked up a point and what it does give us is that connection because when you’re a new group they don’t really know that much about each other on and off the pitch yet so those things will come and grow hopefully but when you’ve got that desire to try to not get beat and not to give up chances your own box and gives you a hell of a lot to build on so delight from that aspect with the ball hence why we’re always in that low block.
“So obviously always things for us to look at and things that we need to get better at but game one we’ve got a point on board.”
