Here Are All the Evo 2025 New Fighting Game Announcements

Evo 2025 took place in Las Vegas, Nevada between August 1-3, 2025, and as usual that meant lots of new fighting game announcements for both featured titles at the event and ones on the way. Some of them were pretty expected, such as looks at Viper from Street Fighter 6 and Lucy for Guilty Gear Strive. Getting a Capcom Fighting Collection 2 free Title Update and registration for a Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls closed beta were a little more of a surprise.

Here’s the full list of all the announcements for every game that appeared at Evo 2025.

• Capcom Fighting Collection 2: There will be a free Title Update that adds Cap-Jams songs, more museum gallery items, and other additions on August 7, 2025. One of the biggest ones is Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper will get Eagle, Ingrid, Maki, and Yun as playable characters and a Mode select option on the character screen. 
• Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves: Ken Masters from the Street Fighter series is now available as a playable DLC character in the game. 
• Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising: There were two new announcements for this fighting game at Evo 2025 too. Wilnas will appear on August 5, 2025, and the 2.20 update out that day will also add EX Characters. A Zombie Land Saga: Yumeginga Paradise Movie Premium Avatar Set of Kotaro Tatsumi from the movie, as well as badges of him, Saga, and the movie, will also debut that day. 
• Guilty Gear: Strive: The Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime heroine Lucy will crossover into Guilty Gear Strive on August 21, 2025, and we will see the 2.00 version of the game in 2026. 
• Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact: Season Pass 1 DLC characters will kick off with Neferpitou in Fall 2025, followed by teasers for Phinks Magcub in Winter 2025, Shizuku Murasaki in Spring 2026, and Zeno Zoldyck in Summer 2026. 
• Invincible VS: Omni-Man will be a playable character in the new fighting game.
• Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls: Registration opened for a closed beta. It will only be held on the PS5 between September 5-7, 2025. You need to sign in, complete a form on the official site, then wait for Sony’s email.
• Netcode Warriors: This is a new arena fighter in development for PCs. 
• Street Fighter 6: Viper will appear as a DLC character in Fall 2025, but before that we’ll see the Outfit 4 swimsuits for AKI, Cammy, Chun-Li, Jamie, Kimberly, Luke, and Manon on August 5, 2025.
• Tekken 8: Armor King will come to the game on October 16, 2025. He’ll be followed by Miary Zo, an entirely new heroine, and a Baobab Horizon stage. 
• Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes: Izumi will appear as a playable character on the PS4, PS5, and PC on August 18, 2025, then on the Switch on August 20, 2025. 
• Virtua Fighter: The new entry in the series will be revealed at the Tokyo Game Show in September 2025, but a new trailer did show off a Training Stage. 
• Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage: We’ll see the new fighting game on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on October 30, 2025, and the Sega announcement also confirmed it will come to the Switch 2 eventually.
