As per the latest reports, shots were fired at late singer Sidhu Moosewala‘s statue in Sawantkheda village of Dabwali, Haryana. The 295 singer was assassinated in 2022 in Jawaharke village of Mansa. He was just 28 years old. Fires were shot at him and he succumbed to injuries on the spot. Three years later, reports of fires being shot at his statue have now hit headlines. His mother Charan Kaur has now penned a lengthy note on social media expressing her views on the event.
Sidhu Moosewala’s mother makes emotional post
In the post, Sidhu Moosewala’s mother wrote that an attack on her son’s memory is wound on their soul. She added that his statue was a symbol of love that people had for him. Sidhu Moosewala was a voice that roared for the rights of the people and ‘and even after he has gone to the Almighty, there are attempts to silence him,’ she wrote. Further she wrote that the enemies are not letting him be in peace even after his passing. She wrote, “This attack feels like a blow to our very soul. The enemies who took his life are still not letting him be, even after his passing. But while his rebellion can be opposed, he cannot be erased. He is a wave, one that will keep flowing forever. I just want to say to everyone: One day or another, everyone will face the consequences of their actions. Our silence is not our defeat.”
As per the reports, the statue of Sidhu Moosewala was installed by Jannayak Janata Party state president Digvijay Chautala. Reportedly, a video clip was sent to him from a foreign number on July 29 in which fires were being shot at Sidhu Moosewala’s statue, as reported by a new agency. If reports in Live Hindustan are to be believes than Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang has taken the responsibility of firing at Sidhi Moosewala’s statue. Reportedly, they warned the sympathisers of Sidhu Moosewala of dire consequences.
