Ghosts Season 5 Finds A Way To Reveal New Power Mysteries

Although Ghosts has already revealed all the main characters’ supernatural powers, there is still room for the CBS sitcom to expand their mysterious abilities in season 5. Between Thor, Sass, Isaac, Hetty, Alberta, Flower, Pete, and Trevor, the ghosts of CBS’s Ghosts leave fans with a lot of characters to keep up with.

While Sam and Jay’s plots are also fun, it is the shared afterlives of the show’s ghosts that make up the best storylines and character arcs in Ghosts. While the BBC’s original version of Ghosts had sadder backstories and more moving flashbacks, the CBS show boasts something that allows the series to stand out from its predecessor.

Ghosts Season 5 Will Reveal A New Aspect Of Flower’s Power

Flower’s Existing Powers Will Be Expanded In Ghosts Season 5

Every ghost character in CBS’s Ghosts has a supernatural power, ranging from Pete’s ability to roam anywhere on Earth to Alberta’s ability to whistle and hum loud enough for humans to hear. Thor can manipulate electricity, Sass can enter the dreams of the living, Hetty is visible to humans once a year on St. Patrick’s Day, and Trevor can move small items.

Although Trevor’s power might seem underwhelming, the ability to type meant he was able to carry out a full-time remote job throughout much of season 4. Similarly, Flower’s ability to get living people high when they walk through her might not seem all that impressive, but season 5 promises to expand this ability.

Co-showrunner Joe Port revealed that season 5 of the series would reveal “an interesting new thing,” as noted on a Ghosts Facebook fan page that summarized the show’s SDCC 2025 panel. The quirky sitcom heroine’s ability to give living people a psychedelic trip will be developed further in season 5, and this exciting development opens up a world of new possibilities for the series.

Revealing New Aspects Of The Ghosts’ Powers Creates A Fresh Mystery For The CBS Series

Ghosts Season 5 Needs Some New Mysteries Now That Viewers Know The Ghosts’ Powers

Now that all the ghosts’ supernatural abilities have been revealed, the sitcom needs to start expanding on what viewers already know about their powers. In doing so, Ghosts can create more storylines that could sustain them in the future.

Until now, each new season of the series boasted a new power reveal.

It is only a matter of time before the abilities of the ghosts start to feel tiresome. Until now, each new season of the series boasted a new power reveal. Thor had known his powers since before the pilot, but Hetty didn’t discover hers until late in season 4.

Thus, the promise that Flower’s power will be expanded in season 5 is a fun way to ensure the show never feels too predictable, even though all the supernatural abilities have already been doled out among the main cast. Thus, this promised Ghosts season 5 storyline is one of the show’s most exciting new developments.
