Quick Links
A good number of Viewfinder’s achievements can be earned by simply progressing through the game, but some will require the player to put in extra effort. For example, the “Hashtag all filters” achievement tasks players with unlocking all 21 camera filters.
To unlock all camera filters in Viewfinder, players will have to complete various objectives, such as finding all magnets, collecting all ducks, and even completing a level in under 10 seconds. Like I said earlier, it will take extra effort.
Unfortunately, the game doesn’t provide any clues on what objectives must be completed to unlock each camera filter. That’s where this guide comes in, as it will detail how to unlock all camera filters in Viewfinder.
How to Unlock All Camera Filters in Viewfinder
If you want to unlock all 21 camera filters in Viewfinder, you’ll have to complete a total of 21 objectives. Each objective unlocks one camera filter.

How to Change Camera Filters & Their Purpose
While players can earn camera filters early on in their playthrough, they can’t actually use them until Chapter 3 of Viewfinder. Chapter 3 is when players unlock the camera.
At the start of Chapter 3, you’ll encounter a picture of a room with a birthday cake. After placing this photo down and entering the room, you’ll find another photo of a camera. Place the photo of the camera down and then grab the camera to officially unlock it for the rest of the game.
With the camera in hand, you can now start messing with the camera filters. To do so, make your way to the filter select station in the main hub area of Chapter 3. It’s located near the yellow tram and inside the small workshop area.
This filter station allows you to easily swap between all the filters you have unlocked. Unfortunately, this is the only way to swap between camera filters, meaning you’ll have to return to this area if you unlock a new filter and want to test it out.
When it comes to the effects of camera filters, they don’t have any real purpose gameplay-wise. They are simply used to add some customization to your photos, allowing you to add different colors and styles to each picture.
