Juventus earned an impressive 2-1 friendly victory away to Borussia Dortmund thanks to an Andrea Cambiaso brace and saw Mats Hummels get one last appearance before retirement.

Gleison Bremer received his first start since knee surgery in October 2024. Joao Mario made his full debut and within four minutes he was booked for clattering into Karim Adeyemi, but it was Juve who opened the scoring.

Pierre Kalulu won the ball back and crossed from the right for Cambiaso to sneak in for the cushioned volley from six yards.

Borussia Dortmund gave ex-Roma defender Mats Hummels an opportunity to have one last appearance before hanging up his boots, so he was substituted to great acclaim after just 18 minutes.

Kenan Yildiz curled inches wide and Khephren Thuram missed a couple of good opportunities, but Dortmund lost Niklas Sule to injury.

Cambiaso got his second of the match with a well-worked move, as Kenan Yildiz sent the wing-back through with a perfectly-weighted pass and the scorching finish surprised the goalkeeper at the near post.

Serge Guirassy’s header skimmed the far top corner and Filip Kostic got the angled drive all wrong after being sent clear by Dusan Vlahovic.

Tiago Djaló also made a mess of his finish after a give and go with Douglas Luiz, so Maximilian Beier pulled one back in the final minute with a blast into the roof of the net from a tricky angle after turning Daniele Rugani.
