Popular television actress Dipika Kakar, who is currently undergoing oral targeted therapy following a major 14‑hour surgery for stage 2 liver cancer, spoke about her struggles associated with this treatment. The actress is spending quality time with her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim and family. Dipika is recovering now, and her family is seen taking care of her. Dipika is now active on social media and is seen filming vlogs.
In her recent vlog, Dipika revealed that she is taking the oral medication and, while she felt fine initially, she developed mild mouth ulcers on the second day. She said that doctors have advised her to drink fluids, including coconut water. Despite the challenges, Dipika remains resolutely optimistic and emphasises her faith that her body will tolerate the upcoming treatments.
Dipika Kakar on her hairfall issues
In a recent vlog, she shared that she has been facing hairfall issues post the treatment. She said that doctors have not mentioned any side effects of oral targeted therapy, but she has been struggling with her hairfall, which has now become a concern for her. The actress was seen stepping out of the house for a new haircut. Dipika chopped off her long tresses, and her new short hair impressed all her fans. The actress said that now her new haircut is bringing a new vibe to her and she will ask her doctor if the hairfall is a side effect of the treatment.
Dipika Kakar confirms her label DPI comeback
Dipika even spoke about making her comeback with her label DPI, which was abruptly due to some issues. She said that the new stock will be out on Thursday and said that she is sure all will love the designs. The actress even said that during Celebrity MasterChef, she had plans about her label and how things would go in the future. But it seems as if destiny had other plans for the actress. Dipika said that she quit Celebrity MasterChef midway due to her shoulder injury and later she felt pain in her arms and was diagnosed with a tumour. Dipika said that all things came one after the other, which postponed her plans bout her label.
On the work front, Dipika was last seen in Celebrity MasterChef and is now on the way to healing and recovery.
