War 2 is clearly one of the most anticipated releases of this year. Considering the fact that it is releasing alongside Rajinikanth’s Coolie, viewers are keen on knowing which movie will get an impressive opening. For the unversed, War 2 will release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on Thursday (August 14). The film features Hrithik and Kiara Advani in key roles. While they will pull viewers to cinema halls in the Hindi market, Jr NTR will work well with the Telugu audience.
What does War 2 Day 1 advance booking status suggest?
According to Sacnilk’s report, War 2 has been successful in selling 3,19,300 tickets (as of 7 am on August 13). The Hindi 2D version has been successful in selling 1,75,673 tickets. For IMAX, it has been 7419, 4DX is 1531, ICE is 425, and Dolby Cine is 65. Including all these formats. The Telugu version has managed to sell 1,27,344 tickets. Tamil hasn’t seen an impressive start as it has managed to sell just 6843 tickets.
Hrithik Roshan lauds Jr NTR ahead of War 2 release?
Hyderabad was high on excitement during the promotional event for War 2, which was held a few days back. Fans came in huge numbers to celebrate Telugu actor Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan. During the event, Hrithik Roshan lauded his co-star Jr NTR. He said, “Tarak, I have not just observed you, but I have learnt from you.” He was visibly awestruck seeing the love the ‘RRR’ actor received from his fans at the event. The event was a testament to Jr NTR’s rising dominance. Roshan reflected on their shared experiences, stating, “I see a lot of myself in Tarak. We have had very similar journeys for 25 years now.”
Hrithik Roshan was also quick to laud Jr NTR’s work ethic. He appreciated his efforts and called him a “one-take final-take star.” Hrithik showed no qualms in appreciating Jr NTR’s ability to give his best to every shot he does. He said, “He will not even check the shot because he knows he has given everything to it.”
