ALITA Calls For Views On Legal AI + Ecosystem – Artificial Lawyer

Screenshot 2025 08 13 at 07.02.49

The Asia-Pacific Legal Innovation and Technology Association (ALITA), wants to hear from you on two key topics: the use and impact of legal AI, and also in a second survey about which legal tech companies are out there and what they’re being used for, to help them develop their legal tech ecosystem map. Both surveys are focused, as you’d expect, on people operating in the APAC region.

Please see below both surveys with an introduction to each. Thanks to Brian Tang, ALITA Co-Chair, for his organisational efforts on these projects. The findings will become part of a report that will be unveiled at TechLawFest 2025 in Singapore on September 10.

Note: deadline for responses is end of August 15 – which is a bit close, AL will ask if that can be extended a little. Right, here are the surveys – please follow the external links to complete them.

  1. ALITA-Lexis Nexis APAC Legal Tech & AI Survey (due August 15)

In collaboration with LexisNexis, ALITA has launched a pioneering APAC Legaltech & AI Survey to gain a deeper understanding of how different legal professionals in private practice, the bar and corporate departments across the Asia-Pacific region currently use AI and legaltech, their attitudes towards AI through the lens of their work as well as the impact of AI on the legal profession.

All submissions are personal and anonymous and do not represent submittee’s organisation (ie, any one at any level of any organisation should be encouraged to submit the survey as we would like different perspectives from different levels and practice groups within different firms and companies from at least 8 jurisdictions across Asia-Pacific (including Singapore, Hong Kong SAR, Australia, New Zealand, China, South Korea, Malaysia and Japan).

The input from your community will be compiled and analysed, and as a token of appreciation for each party completing the survey, our friends at Singapore Academy of Law is extending a complimentary 2-Day Conference Pass to TechLawFest in Singapore to attend the ALITA SOLIA Report 2025 launch.

We invite you to kindly invite your community to complete the survey here: https://lnux.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_e5OZ1FHYBpByzDE

  • ALITA Legal Innovation & Technology Ecosystem Map (due August 15)

To  better assist users of legal and innovation technology such as law firms, chambers and corporate departments to better identify and recognise the innovative organisations which are actually providing legal innovation and technology products and services in the different jurisdictions across the Asia-Pacific region, we kindly invite you to outreach to your community to submit their details and logo to be recognised in our ALITA APAC Legal Innovation & Technology Ecosystem Map 2025 that will form part of the ALITA SOLIA Report 2025.

This includes law firms who are increasingly offering new services and products to augment their traditional legal advisory services.  For organisations that have more than one product/service brand that serves different markets, they should consider making separate submissions for each product/service under separate brands/logos.

Submissions to the Ecosystem Map are free and we invite organisations (including law firms which provide legal innovation and technology services and products) to complete the simple form:
