The biggest box office clash of the year remained to be between Coolie and War 2. Rajinikanth’s movie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj clashed with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR‘s action thriller. Both the films opened to mixed reviews, however, took a solid start at the box office. In no time, Coolie and War 2 managed to cross the mark of Rs 100 crore at the box office. After a thunderous response over the first weekend, now the pace of Coolie and War 2 has slowed down. Here’s the latest box office report.
Coolie box office report day 7
Rajinikanth fans were over the moon with the release of Coolie. The film made massive money on its opening day as it earned Rs 65 crore in just one day. Followed by historic numbers over the first weekend. However, now Rajinikanth’s movie is minting money in single digits. As per a report in Sacnilk.com, the movie made Rs 6.50 crore at the box office on its day 7. There is a significant dip as the movie made around Rs 9.50 crore on its day 6. These are the early estimates. The film had released on a Thursday, followed by Independence Day holiday. Now, the total collection of the movie stands at Rs 222.5 crore. Despite a dip in numbers, Coolie is still ahead of Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s War 2.
War 2 box office report day 7
Made on a massive budget, War 2 boasts of high-octane stunts and stunning visuals. Of course, the Greek God of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan, is a part of it, Jr NTR has marked his Bollywood debut with this movie. The film took a glorious start at the box office by minting Rs 52 crore on day 1. It tuned out to be the highest-opening-day grosser of 2025 in terms of Bollywood movies. However, it lost its steam over the weekdays. As per a report, War 2 has made around Rs 5.50 crore at the box office on day 7. It has witnessed a major dip in numbers as the film had made around Rs 9 crore on its day 6.
