This 11-day festival is not only significant but also represents a strong part of the culture of Mumbai. Devotees celebrate the 11 days with good food, dance, and love. Bollywood stars are no different. Bollywood actor Sonu Sood and his son started the festivities by welcoming Bappa at his residence in Mumbai. Several videos are going viral on social media. Videos show the actor carefully placing Bappa’s idol in his car and doing aarti. Fans are elated and have been praising the actor ever since for his devotion.

Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa also celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi on August 27. The couple welcomed Bappa with a lot of love and loud music. To be environmentally friendly , Bharti and Harsh opt for biodegradable clay idols every year. Their son, Lakshya, nicknamed Gola , excitedly participates in the family rituals, from welcoming Bappa to visarjan ceremonies. The family constantly shares glimpses of their celebration, making fans a part of the festivities and letting them feel the positivity.
