The Bettinardi Antidote series putters feature the SB1 blade and SB2 mallet as the brand’s new zero-torque designs to offer next level performance.
The Antidote series represents Bettinardi’s entry into the rapidly growing zero torque putter market for the 2025 season.
Developed over two years, the putters feature Bettinardi’s Simply Balanced technology that ensures the face remains square throughout the stroke for maximum control and consistency on the greens.
The Antidote SB1 offers a traditional blade design, while the SB2 provides a mallet-style head with both incorporating advanced materials for a high level of performance.
Bettinardi have added a new option with the SB2 Long launched as their first long handled or broomstick putter shaft.
Bettinardi Antidote SB1 Putter Design & Specs
The SB1 has a classic wide-bodied blade design with curved bumpers and a thick topline and a precision-milled body made from 303 Stainless Steel for premium feedback and control.
The key design element in the SB1 is Simply Balanced Technology (where the name comes from), which is a zero-torque innovation that aligns the shaft axis with the center of gravity.
The technology promotes a naturally square face during the stroke and is Bettinardi’s answer to the zero torque design introduced by the likes of L.A.B. and Odyssey.

The putter also features Feel Impact Technology (F.I.T.) with 55% of the face material removed for a softer feel without diminishing feedback.
The face is finished with Bettinardi’s signature Diamond Blast texture to reduce glare and deliver clean sightlines while stood over putts on the green.
The SB1 putter has a negative shaft offset (-1 degree) that promotes a natural forward press to keep the stroke square and connected.
The design incorporates a strategically placed 6061 aluminum pocket insert in the cavity, finished in Sapphire Blue for contrast and modern appeal.
Bettinardi Antidote SB2 Putter Design & Specs
The SB2 has a mid-mallet shape with a clean profile and a high-MOI design for maximum forgiveness.
Unlike the SB1, the SB2 reverses material roles with a 6061 aluminum body paired with a 303 stainless steel face insert.
Bettinardi’s F.I.T. face milling technology removes 55% of the face material for a softer feel from the SB2 at impact without sacrificing responsiveness.

The finish scheme of the putter is also inverted with a Sapphire Blue anodized body and a Diamond Blast face.
The SB2 also uses Simply Balanced Technology for face stability and enhanced stroke consistency with the centered CG minimize torque during the swing.
The heavier head means it is best suited for players who prefer a straight-back, straight-through stroke or who struggle with face rotation during their stroke.
The SB2 putter has a negative shaft offset (-1 degree) that promotes a natural forward press to keep the stroke square and connected.
An additional version of the putter has been added to the portfolio with the launch of the SB2 Long featuring a broomstick type shaft.
Bettinardi Antidote Putters Review: Are the SB1 and SB2 any good?
The Antidote Series is built around innovation, balance and elite craftsmanship and they deliver that with a tour-level performance on the greens.
The two putters deliver a specific feel and performance profile as well as a square stroke with excellent distance control and a pleasingly soft feel at impact.
The SB1 blade caters for players who prefer a more traditional look and compact head, which suited golfers with an arc-style putting stroke during our testing.
The SB2 mallet is more about enhanced forgiveness and alignment stability with the combination of a heavier aluminum body with a steel face insert helps distribute weight outward to boost MOI without sacrificing feel.
