So why the discount? Rumour has it that Apple is planning to release the AirTag 2 later this year, so they are probably trying to clear their inventory of the original devices.
Should you wait for the new model? It’s hard to imagine what more the version 2 could offer over the original. So at this price, official AirTags are a bargain.
