Newton Golf Shafts Designs & Features

Newton Golf shafts come in two options – Motion and Fast Motion – and have been designed with seven options to suit the swing speed and swing requirements for a range of golfers.

Newton’s shafts have an Elongated Bend Profile with greater flex across a longer section, making the swing feel fluid and allowing the shaft to store and release energy more efficiently.

The Kinetic Storage Construction is a proprietary fiber construction designed to maximize stored energy for increased ball speed and distance.

Notably there is also a Variable Bend Profile to each of seven different numbered models, which matches torque to a golfer’s swing profile and swing speed.

The numbered system is the DOT System Fitting with dots 1-6 or 1-7 (depending on model) denoting shaft stiffness, torque and weight, and replacing traditional flex categories.

Motion Series shafts are available in six DOT variants with weights from 45-70g, torque from 6.0 to 3.7 and CPMs from 210 to 285, matching swing speeds and player type as below.

Each shaft increases in weight and CPM while lowering torque as the DOT number rises, matching increased swing speed and force with stability and control.
