Anisimova’s second-serve woes continued as she won just 10 of 28 points on her second serve, allowing Sabalenka to dominate the return game.

Once the rankings refresh after the tournament concludes, Anisimova will be ranked No. 4, right behind compatriot Coco Gauff. Sabalenka will enter the 2026 season as the World No. 1 by a huge margin. This marked her 100th win at a Grand Slam main draw match, becoming only the second woman in the Open Era to achieve this feat after Iga Świątek.
