Brad Keselowski left Pocono Raceway feeling proud and frustrated after finishing ninth in Sunday’s Great American Getaway 400. The RFK Racing driver and co-owner believed he had a car strong enough to win. Instead, a pair of costly pit road decisions hurt his chances and likely cost him a shot at victory.
Brad Keselowski Fights Back to Claim Third Top-10 Finish of the Season
Starting the race from the seventh row, Keselowski had a quick car on Sunday and found his way to the lead on Lap 33. He was still leading on Lap 56 when the RFK Racing driver entered pit road as caution came out for debris in Turn 2, only to realize too late that the pit lane was closed.
That mistake dropped him deep in the field. With 36 laps to go and again in the lead, Keselowski chose not to pit when his team advised him to. A caution came out one lap later, leaving him badly out of position.
Despite those setbacks, Keselowski rallied hard in the final stage. He restarted 24th and charged back to ninth by the finish. His performance helped RFK Racing put all three of its cars in the top ten. It was also Keselowski’s third top-10 finish in the last five races.
Keselowski spoke about the tough day after the race on Prime Video’s post-race show.
“We had a great car today. Our BuildSubmarines Ford Mustang was really good. We got the lead there in the first stage, and we felt like we were in control and lost control of the race early with the pit road penalty,” Keselowski shared (via X).
“I thought we recovered really well from that, got up to third or fourth there. We kind of had a strategy to run longer than the lead pack there, and the yellow came out in the middle of the cycle and cycled us back to the end there with I guess, 30 to go. Came from 24th on that last run to 9th. I thought that was strong, but not enough,” the 41-year-old added.

The race ended dramatically as Chase Briscoe beat Denny Hamlin and Ryan Blaney in a tense fuel-mileage battle. Briscoe, driving for Joe Gibbs Racing, led the final 34 laps and held off pressure from Hamlin to win by just 0.682 seconds. The win locks Briscoe into the 2025 NASCAR Playoffs.
Brad Keselowski Praises Prime Video’s Coverage of NASCAR in the Post-Race Show
Keselowski praised Amazon’s Prime Video team after Sunday’s race at Pocono. During his post-race interview, the RFK Racing driver and co-owner thanked the streaming service for making it easier for him to keep up with NASCAR races, especially with his busy schedule.
Keselowski, who also helps shape the sport’s future as part of NASCAR’s three-person Owner Advisory Council, said the Prime Video post-race show has been a big help.
“I don’t always get to rewatch the races like I’d like to,” he said. “I do get to rewatch Amazon. That’s way easier for me to find at home. I love that you guys have a post-race show because when I wanna know what happened in the race, I can watch the Amazon post-show. I don’t have to re-watch the whole race. So, thank you for that. Everybody at Amazon.”

This praise from the former Cup Series champion comes at a time when many fans have criticized FOX Sports earlier in the season for its short post-race coverage, which often lasted just a few minutes.
Keselowski further stated that he was disappointed that Sunday was Prime Video’s final race of the year. The RFK Racing driver currently sits 30th in the Cup points standings with 261 points as he continues to fight for a place in the Playoffs.
