American tennis player Emma Navarro recently spent a memorable day at the 2025 Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, where she got the chance to experience racing firsthand with the Red Bull team in Sin City. The 24-year-old made the most of her time at the event by getting behind the wheel of an actual Formula 1 car and sharing her experience with fans on social media.
While her participation wasn’t about competing, Navarro immersed herself in the high-octane atmosphere of one of motorsport’s most exciting weekends.
Emma Navarro’s Exciting Formula 1 Adventure at the Las Vegas Grand Prix
Max Verstappen claimed victory at the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix on Saturday, cruising to a dominant win over McLaren’s Lando Norris, who finished more than 20 seconds behind the Red Bull driver after Verstappen took the lead. George Russell secured third place in his Mercedes, while Piastri rounded out the top four in the other McLaren.
While the drivers battled for the World Championship, the tennis world got its own moment of excitement when Navarro teamed up with her sponsor, Red Bull, for some fun. Dressed in full professional racing gear, Navarro not only sat in and drove an actual Formula 1 car but also shared the experience through an Instagram reel that highlighted her adventurous side.
In the video, Navarro declared she was “going drifting” and playfully called herself a “professional racer,” showing her enthusiasm for the day’s activities.
Beyond her time in the F1 car itself, she spent time in various other vehicles on the track, and throughout the day, she could be seen dancing, laughing, and enjoying her time with the Red Bull team, making the most of her visit to Las Vegas.

She also reposted the Instagram story by Red Bull USA’s official account, with many other sports personalities, including biker Aaron Colton, snowboarder Zeb Powell, football player Deyna Castellanos, American cyclist Kate Courtney, French surfer Kauli Vaast, and American Olympian Zion Wright.
Navarro was not the only member of the tennis community in attendance at the prestigious racing event. Fellow American tennis player Taylor Fritz also attended the Las Vegas Grand Prix with his girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, who recently made headlines for her own appearances at Formula 1 events.
The couple, known for their enthusiasm for motorsport, spent the weekend soaking in the atmosphere of one of the calendar’s most glamorous racing events.
Navarro’s Offseason Activities Following 2025 Season
Navarro maintained an active schedule during her break from competitive tennis following the conclusion of the professional season. Just before heading to Las Vegas, the American participated in the pro-am event at the 2025 RSM Classic golf tournament at Sea Island Golf Club on November 19, where she acknowledged that her golf skills required some refinement but expressed that she had an absolute blast spending time on the course.
During her time at the golf event, her performance drew the attention of fellow American tennis star Jessica Pegula, who was surprised to notice that Navarro was swinging left-handed on the golf course despite being a right-handed tennis player – an interesting quirk that caught Pegula’s eye.
Navarro had a strong and productive year on the professional tennis circuit. She captured her second career WTA title at the Mérida Open in February, defeating Colombian qualifier Emiliana Arango with a double-bagel scoreline of 6-0, 6-0.
Her standout Grand Slam performance came at the Australian Open, where she reached the quarterfinals before falling to Poland’s Iga Świątek.

By season’s end, Navarro had secured a world ranking of 15th on the WTA tour, cementing her status as one of the finest American tennis players competing at the highest level.
