The ATP Awards were given out on Dec. 12, recognizing the feats of excellence of players in both singles and doubles disciplines on the ATP Tour in 2025.
Let’s take a look at the winners from this year’s ATP Awards.
Carlos Alcaraz Wins the ATP No. 1
It was Carlos Alcaraz who bagged the ATP No. 1 award for the second time in his career, having won it before in 2022. The Spaniard won 71 of his 80 matches in the year, winning eight titles from 11 finals.
He reached three Major finals this season, winning the French Open and the US Open, winning both the title matches against rival Jannik Sinner. Alcaraz ended as the No. 1-ranked player in the world, taking the top spot from the Italian by the end of the year.
Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool Win the ATP Doubles No. 1
The British pair of Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool won the ATP Doubles No. 1 award for 2025, with the pair having great success during the season. Cash and Glasspool reached 11 finals in 2025, winning seven titles, which include a Major at Wimbledon, as well as a Masters 1000 title at the Canadian Open.
Cash and Glasspool also generated three other runner-up finishes at the Masters 1000 level in Miami, Monte Carlo, and Paris. The pair went on an unprecedented run of 22 unbeaten matches in the middle of the season, which helped them clinch the year-end No.1 ranking.
Jannik Sinner and the Pair of Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori Win the ATP Fan Favorite Awards
The ATP Fan Favorite Awards reflect the public’s feelings on their favorite players on the ATP Tour. In the singles division, it was Jannik Sinner who won the award for the third consecutive time.
The Italian played in 12 events this year, reaching the final in all but two. He won two Major titles at the Australian Open and at Wimbledon, and he finished the year with three successive titles at Vienna, Paris, and at the ATP Finals.
In the doubles, it was the Italian pair of Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori who won the fan award, with the Italian duo enjoying a successful 2025 season by winning four titles in six finals, as well as a runner-up finish at the Australian Open.
Best Coach Award Went to Carlos Alcaraz’s Team
The duo of Juan Carlo Ferrero and Samuel Lopez won the ATP Award for coaching, as they helping Alcaraz back to a No. 1 ranking.
Ferrero had won this accolade previously in 2022, but it was the first time for Lopez, with the voting being done by all the other ATP coaches on the Tour.
Valentin Vacherot’s Dream Run in Shanghai Gave Him the Breakthrough of the Year Award
Valentin Vacherot was awarded the Breakthrough of the Year Award, which is voted on by the former and current World No. 1 players. Vacherot went on an amazing run at the Shanghai Masters and became the lowest-ranked player to win a Masters 1000 event.
He started from the qualifying rounds and secured victories against the likes of Alexander Bublik, Tomas Machac, Holger Rune, and Novak Djokovic to reach the final, where he won against his cousin, fellow ATP player Arthur Rinderknech.
This win saw Vacherot have a massive rise in the ATP Rankings, breaking into the top 40 instantly.
Carlos Alcaraz, Andrey Rublev Also Secure Prestigious Awards
As voted by the ATP No.1 club, Carlos Alcaraz won the Stefan Edberg Award for Sportsmanship for a second time in 2025, having won it previously in 2023. The Spaniard called a foul on himself during the Round of 16 clash against Ben Shelton at the 2025 French Open, exhibiting a marquee moment of sportsmanship.

Meanwhile, Andrey Rublev won the Arthur Ashe Humanitarian Award for his excellent work through his foundation that looks after children with critical illnesses. This year, the Russian player was vocal about mental health, speaking about his own struggles with the issue in his career so far, and in turn generating more awareness about it.
Cincinnati, Doha, and Bastad Bag the Tournament Awards
Players on the Tour vote for the best tournaments under each category.
While the Cincinnati Open was voted as the best Masters 1000 event in 2025, the Qatar Open and the Nordea Open in Bastad took home the prize for the top ATP 500 and 250 events, respectively.
