The 2025 Heisman Trophy results are in! Following a scintillating college football campaign this fall, the most outstanding player in the nation received the ultimate recognition at the ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 13 in New York City. Who took home the most significant individual accolade in college football? Let’s find out with the full results from the 2025 Heisman Trophy Ceremony.

1) Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana
Since transferring from the California Golden Bears ahead of the 2025 college football season, Fernando Mendoza has established himself as a household name and a quarterback right at the top of the sport. He’s led the Indiana Hoosiers to a Big Ten title and helped change the national mindset around the program as they embark on the College Football Playoff as the top-ranked team.
Ahead of the Heisman Trophy ceremony, Mendoza had already racked up a laundry list of awards, including a PFSN All-American honor, but now the man who led the nation with 33 touchdown passes and boasted the second-best PFSN College QBi score (93.2) has landed the biggest prize of them all.
2) Diego Pavia, QB, Vanderbilt
No player elevates his team more in 2025 than Diego Pavia. No player has the ability to create magic out of nowhere like Pavia. No player had a higher PFSN College QBi score in 2025. He has been the beacon for all other players, both fighting for victories on the field and fighting for justice off the field and in the courtroom. However, when the votes were counted, he came up just short of the most significant award in college football.
3) Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame
You can argue that no player has meant more to their team’s success this season than the Notre Dame Fighting Irish running back, who set the program record for total touchdowns this year. An unstoppable juggernaut who is as likely to hurdle a defender as he is to pile through them, Love rushed for 1,372 yards while earning a 92.2 PFSN College RB Impact score. However, in a quarterback-dominated award, the running back was snubbed.
