Emma Raducanu’s Dubai Stalker Attempts Wimbledon Entry in Shocking Update

Emma Raducanu’s stalker from Dubai recently attempted to secure tickets for the Wimbledon Championships. The Brit had the troubling stalker episode earlier this year during the 2025 Dubai Tennis Championships.
The Wimbledon Championships are set to take place from Jun. 30 to July 13, 2025, at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon, London.

Emma Raducanu’s Dubai Stalker Removed From Applying for Wimbledon Tickets by Organizers

During her second-round match against Karolína Muchová at the WTA 1000 hard court tournament in Dubai, Raducanu spotted her stalker in the stands, which visibly distressed her, leading her to stop the match, and she was also seen crying during this incident.

Following this alarming incident, the individual was quickly removed from the stadium and was subsequently issued a restraining order by Dubai police.

Recently, it was reported that this same individual attempted to obtain tickets through the public ballot for the 2025 Wimbledon Championships, the former World No. 10’s home Grand Slam.

However, with enhanced security measures in place, the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) was alerted to his ticket request, and they red-flagged and blocked his attempt to enter the public ballot.

Earlier this month, AELTC Chief Executive Sally Bolton addressed security protocols at Wimbledon, mentioning that the safety and well-being of all players is their “top priority.” She revealed that multiple measures are in place to safeguard the players throughout the tournament.

“The safety and well-being of all of the players is our absolute top priority. I think the recent incidents coming to light certainly recognize the concern generated by that. But we have in place – and have had for many years – processes for ensuring the safety of our players,” Bolton said.

“I Have Got Increased Attention and Greater Security,” Emma Raducanu After Being Stalked in Dubai

In March 2025, while speaking about the stalking incident that occurred in Dubai, Raducanu recounted how, upon spotting the man at the stadium, she was overwhelmed with fear and could barely breathe. “I saw him in the first game of the match, and I was like, ‘I don’t know how I’m going to finish’. I literally couldn’t see the ball through tears. I could barely breathe. I was like, ‘I need to just take a breather,’” Raducanu said.

In the aftermath of this unsettling event, Raducanu revealed that she has taken steps to improve her personal security. “Since that incident, I have definitely got increased attention and greater security. All we can do is look at what happened and react to it in a better way, in a more positive way, rather than looking back and blaming the situation,” she continued.

The former World No. 10 mentioned that her security arrangements have improved, and she is now much more vigilant and aware of her surroundings. “Now it is being dealt with better, so for me that’s important. I’m always now very aware and not necessarily doing things on my own anymore. I’m always with someone and always being watched,” Raducanu added.

Most recently, Raducanu competed at the 2025 Queen’s Club Championships, where she received a wild card entry into the main draw. She defeated Cristina Bucșa and Rebecca Šramková before being eliminated by Zheng Qinwen in the quarterfinals.
