Three Florida counties emerged victorious at the 2025 USTA Florida Adult 40 & Over 3.0/3.5/4.0 Sectional Championships, held at the USTA National Campus in Orlando.
The weekend featured intense matchups, thrilling tiebreaks, and a strong sense of competition as teams battled for sectional glory and a shot at national contention.
Orange County dominated the Men’s 3.0 division, defeating Alachua County 4-1 behind strong doubles play. In the Women’s 3.5 division, Duval County showcased depth and resilience, topping Broward County 4-1.
Miami-Dade County edged out Broward County 3-2 in a tightly contested Men’s 4.0 final. After dropping the top singles and doubles lines, Miami-Dade rallied with three straight doubles victories to seal the title.
These wins not only highlight the strength of Florida’s adult league tennis but also secure National Championship bids for each of the winning teams. Nationals will take place in October across Arizona, California, and Florida.
